GeoServer Basics

This workshop uses the official introduction, description and documentation of GeoServer, which can be found at http://docs.geoserver.org/2.1.3/user/.

The content and its flow has been adopted for this workshop in a way that an introduction to service-oriented mapping is possible.

The workshop does not have the intention to give a detailed software insight for GeoServer, but to introduce to the paradigm of service-oriented mapping.
